    Road to the Keys Kickoff

    In partnership with SEMA

    Embassy Suites, International Drive, Orlando

    As the SEMA MPMC Media Trade Conference wraps up, road-trippers, manufacturers, media, creators, and local enthusiasts meet in the host hotel's parking lot. About 40 selected cars and trucks, one evening, and the night before we head south.

    Free. RSVP required.

      About 40 selected cars and trucks in a dedicated section of the hotel lot.

    2. 4:00 - 8:00 PM

      Hang out and network

      Bonanza road-trippers meet the manufacturers, media, and creators finishing their week at MPMC.

      Rest up

      Fuel up tonight. Staging is at 5:00 AM.

    Orlando to Marathon to Key Largo

    We wake up before sunrise and head south together: through interior Florida, down Krome Avenue, onto US-1 and across the water to lunch at Sunset Grille in Marathon. Then back north to Gilbert's at your own pace.

    Free to join. Sign up so we know you are coming.

      Staging

      Embassy Suites lot. Fueled, checked over, and ready to drive.

    2. 5:15 AM

      Driver meeting

      Route, stops, caravan etiquette, and what to do if you get separated.

    3. 5:30 AM

      Wheels rolling

      Sharp. We head south.

    4. About 1:00 - 3:00 PM

      Lunch at Sunset GrillePlanned

      Marathon, at the foot of the Seven Mile Bridge. Everyone orders individually.

    5. Afternoon

      North to Gilbert's

      About 62 miles back up US-1 to Key Largo, at your own pace.

    6. 4:00 PM

      Hotel check-in

      Gilbert's rooms open at 4:00 PM.

    Beach Party

    Cars and trucks in the sand, a DJ and live music, a bonfire and s'mores, merch, giveaways, cold drinks, and no alarm clock until Saturday morning.

    Free and open to everyone.

    The big day. 250+ classic cars and trucks expected, live music, food, bars, vendors, kids activities, and an entire resort full of automotive people. No judges. No trophies.

    Spectators free. Show vehicles preregister ($40).

      Registered, approved vehicles only.

    2. 8:00 AM

      Gates open

      Spectators free all day.

    Everglades Cruise

    Key Largo to the Everglades

    No 5:00 AM alarm. Sleep in, get coffee, talk about Saturday. Then those not headed home yet fire the trucks back up for one more cruise, toward the Everglades and, if it all comes together, a group airboat ride.
